PBA of NYS announces legislative endorsements

The Police Benevolent Association of New York State Law Enforcement announced its endorsements of candidates running in New York state legislative races.

The PBA of NYS Law Enforcement represents New York State University Police, the New York State Environmental Conservation Police, the New York State Park Police and the New York State Forest Rangers.

“After careful consideration, the union representing nearly 1,200 state agency police officers proudly endorses the candidates listed below. They have each demonstrated a commitment to the law enforcement community and are the most qualified person in their race,” said PBA President Peter Barry. “These candidates share our goals to protect the public, environment and natural resources.”

Candidates are selected through a process that includes face-to-face interviews, questionnaires and an evaluation of voting records, bill sponsorship and general support on issues deemed important to PBA members.

Western New York candidates:
