Letter: Curbside pickup and home delivery can save lives

To the editor:

Governor Cuomo recently announced that 21 percent of New York City residents who were randomly tested  were infected with coronavirus. This is scary. It means when we go to supermarkets or pharmacies and stand next to someone or an employee, the odds are better that we can get infected.

I suggest that the Governor issues another Executive Order mandating that all supermarkets and pharmacies in New York State either provide adequate home delivery services to their customers or offer curbside pickup of medications and food.

Cuomo should also authorize local governments to issue this directive if he feels that the policy should not be state wide. Curbside pickup and home delivery can save lives.
